District Heating Units – Supply and Installation

The project comprises a framework agreement tender for the supply and installation of district heating units for Egedal District Heating. The objective is to ensure a standardized and efficient process enabling the conversion of heat consumers from natural gas and oil to district heating, using high-quality units that guarantee optimal operational performance of the heating network.
The framework covers both private residential installations and larger commercial systems with heating demand up to 250 kW.
The framework agreement runs for an 8-year period (2021–2029) and includes the installation of up to 5,000 units, with a strong focus on quality, operational reliability for customers, and effective implementation.
Technical Consultancy
Norsyn has played a central role in the project by preparing the tender documentation and managing the overall project and procurement process. Detailed specifications for installation work, unit mounting, workflows and procedural descriptions have created a robust foundation for the successful execution of the numerous planned conversions.
As part of our consultancy, Norsyn has worked closely with Egedal District Heating to identify ways to reduce installation costs without compromising quality. This includes standardized procedures for pre-screening, installation, inspection, and commissioning.
