Høje Taastrup District Heating – Return Temperature Analysis

We provided technical consultancy services for the development of a model to analyse return temperatures.

The model is designed to assess existing return temperature measurements from all customers and evaluate the economic impact of optimising return temperatures. Several proposals for new tariff structures with return temperature incentives were developed.

The results aim to show how many customers would be economically affected by a potential new tariff. Furthermore, the model identifies what is required to provide customers with sufficient incentive to improve their return temperatures.

Finally, the analysis is intended to produce a general technical and financial assessment of the optimisation potential.
