Gentofte Municipality has adopted an ambitious district heating expansion plan that covers the entire municipality and supports a more climate-friendly energy supply in the Greater Copenhagen area.
The rollout is divided into five phases. The existing distribution network is being expanded with approximately 17 km of main pipelines in Phase 1 and 20 km in Phase 3.
Norsyn is acting as a sub-consultant for the expansion, providing services such as feasibility studies, detailed design, construction management, technical supervision, hydraulic calculations, load forecasting, contractor tendering with contract negotiations, budgeting, financial control, scheduling, and more.
